Rita Corwin

Rita Corwin, age 86 years, of Greeley, CO, formerly a longtime resident of Hunterdon County, NJ, died on Thursday, August 8, 2013 while visiting her daughter in Oregon.

Born in the Bronx, NY, September 4, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Hermina Wittman Corwin.

She was formerly the Owner and Proprietor of Heinz & Rita's Bar on Rt. 12 in Frenchtown, NJ from 1968 till retiring in 1998 along with her life partner of forty-five years, Heinz Katmann, who died in 2006.

Surviving are two sons, Richard Hargrave of Bradenton, FL and Christopher Hargrave of Bradenton, FL; two daughters, Connie Fisher of Camas Valley, OR and Nancy Coatman of Greeley, CO; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Another son, William Hargrave, died in 2002.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Reaville, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 1 to 2 PM in the funeral home.
