Rita M. Mastrangelo, age 84 years, of Tampa, FL, died on Saturday, January 9, 2016 in Tampa General Hospital.
Born in Woodbridge, NJ, July 21, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marion Tomaso Mastandrea. She lived in Tampa FL for one year, moving from Stockton NJ where she lived for many years.
A homemaker, Rita was a member of the Frenchtown Bowling League for many years and the AARP of Phillipsburg, NJ.
Predeceased by her husband, Michael J. Mastrangelo in 2012, and her sister, Marie Lemiska in 2014, Rita is survived by her two daughters, Michele Reilly and her husband, Daniel of Tampa FL, and Susan Barna and her husband, Mik, of Stockton NJ: her grandchildren, Josh Reilly and his wife, Lauren of Phillipsburg NJ, Mick Barna and his wife, Kim, of Stockton NJ, Tony Barna and his wife, Lindsay, of High Bridge NJ, and Amy Barna of Stockton NJ. She is also survived by her great-grandson, Trey Barna, of Stockton, NJ: her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Barna, of Stockton, NJ, as well as her brother, John Mastrandrea and his wife, Eleanor, of Bethlehem PA, and her sister, Frances Kenney, and her husband, Greg Lougridge, of Seattle WA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 9:30 AM at St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington NJ. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in Quakertown NJ.
Calling hours will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
