R.J. Boudreau

July 12, 1969 — May 6, 2024

Richard J. “RJ” Boudreau, age 54 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, May 6, 2024.

Born in South Kingstown, RI, on July 12, 1969, he was the son of Carole (Straight) Boudreau and the late Harris “Harry” Boudreau, who died in 2004. He grew up and lived most of his life in Narragansett and Westerly, Rhode Island before moving to New Jersey.

RJ was employed for many years as a supervisor for Pieros Construction Co., Inc., Somerville, NJ-a job that he truly loved.

In his spare time, RJ could be found either on the water or on a tree stand. He was an avid fisherman, and a proud Captain. He competed in countless fishing tournaments over the years. In fact, he and his sister got matching tattoos in honor of their father and their love for Block Island. Moreover, he enjoyed deer and duck hunting as well.

He will be remembered for his big heart, his generosity and his sense of humor by all who knew him.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his wife, the late Cheryl (Bartlett) Boudreau, who died in 2000.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his sister, Donna L. Boudreau, of Warwick, RI who will miss him tremendously.

Finally, Donna would like to acknowledge the beloved Nunn family, of Hillsborough, NJ, who treated RJ like one of their own. She will be forever grateful to Rick, Kathy, Greg, Dale and Jason for their kindness and love.

Cremation services and arrangements are private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
