Robert A. McLarty, Jr., Esq., age 76, of Hamilton, NJ, died on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. Born August 1, 1946, in New York City, he was the son of the late Robert A. McLarty, Sr. and LaVerne (Walker) McLarty. He had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ before moving to Hamilton Township, NJ. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he received his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. He was a trial attorney with over thirty-three years at the New Jersey Bar. He had served on Flemington Borough Council as well. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing golf. He was always sharing vivid stories at family get-togethers of his adventures. He is predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann McLarty Seems and brother, Richard McLarty. Surviving are his sister, Pamela Barrick and her husband Stephen, of Flemington, NJ, his brother, James McLarty and his wife Kunsaran, also of Flemington, NJ; his nieces, Priscilla Cotte and her husband John, of Sayreville, NJ, Gretchen Gayeski and her husband Will, of Bridgewater, NJ, Allison McLarty of Flemington, NJ, Emily Raykovitz and her husband Matthew, of Southampton, PA, and his nephew, Tyler Barrick and his wife Samantha, of Springboro, OH; as well as four great-nieces and five great-nephews.
