Robert A. Torok, Sr., age 77 years, of Upper Black Eddy, PA, died Friday, March 26, 2021 at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA.
Born in Frenchtown, NJ, September 17, 1943, son of the late Andrew and Ida Schmidt Torok, he had formerly resided in Pittstown, NJ.
Robert worked as an auto mechanic for Ditschman Car Dealership in Flemington, NJ. He was Boy Scout leader and Scout Master of Troop 112. Robert was an avid collector of boy scout memorabilia. He also enjoyed fixing and racing stock cars at local race tracks.
Surviving is his wife Shirley Torok; son, Robert Torok, Jr. and his wife, Melissa of Upper Black Eddy, PA; two siblings, Sandy Harrington and her husband, Peter of Greer, SC, and Ronald Torok and his wife, Eva Mae of Pittstown, NJ; two grandchildren, Christopher Torok and his fiancé, Jackie Hill of Upper Black Eddy, PA, and Cassandra Babbage and her husband, Joseph of Phillipsburg, NJ, and one great-grandson, Marvin Jaquish of Phillipsburg, NJ.
Cremation services will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A memorial service for Robert will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
