Robert Andrew Wargo

Robert Andrew Wargo, age 62 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Friday, March 4, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Newark, NJ, March 15, 1948, son of Susan Semko Wargo of Allentown, PA and the late Andrew Wargo, he had resided in East Amwell Township for the past thirty years.

A United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Wargo was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He received his BA in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and was a longtime Technical Advisor at Technicolor, Inc., Princeton, NJ. Prior to that, he had worked for R.C.A., Princeton, NJ.

A member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hopewell, NJ, Mr. Wargo had a strong faith and also did some advanced study in Lutheran Theology.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of thirty-seven years, Gloria Yablonkai Wargo; a son and daughter-in-law, Jason Robert and Vicki Wargo; a grandson, Logan Michael Wargo; a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Frank Ciappio; a sister, Paula Wargo; and a nephew, Frank Paul Ciappio, III.

Funeral Services will take place Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in St. Peter Lutheran Church, corner of Routes 518 & 579, Hopewell Township, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery, Washington’s Crossing, PA. Calling hours will be Monday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
