Robert B. Harrison

Robert Bruce Harrison, age 81 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ, May 6, 1943, he was the son of the late Ralph and Frances (Karcz) Harrison.

Robert worked as a civil engineer surveyor for the State of New Jersey, New Jersey DEP and New Jersey Water Supply in Clinton, NJ. Robert was a member of the Army National Guard and a member of the Professional Land Surveyor Society. He was an avid traveler, visiting all seven continents with his wife, Irene.

He is pre-deceased by one sister, Lois Powers. Surviving are his wife of thirty-eight years, Irene Harrison; five children, Bruce Harrison and his wife, Ginger, Mark Harrison and his wife, Monica, Michelle Hawthorne, Alexander Harrison and his wife, Deanna and Tyler Harrison and his wife, Alicia; eleven grandchildren: Robert, Cambie, Brianna, Amy, Tessie, Kayden, Quinn, Kara, Jessica, Elena, Aria and Hayden; and four great-grandchildren: Miranda, Conner, Joey, and Griffin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Blawenburg Reformed Church, 424 County Road 518, Skillman, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow the service in the Blawenburg Cemetery, 1006 Route 601, Skillman, NJ. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 AM in the church.
