Robert E. Higgins, age 72 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on February 1, 2000 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Flemington, NJ on September 6, 1927, he was the son of the late William N. Higgins and Laura (Worthington) Higgins. Mr. Higgins was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He then went on to work for Johnson & Johnson. Robert is survived by his wife, Betty (Norgard) Higgins. Interment in Newell Cemetery, Stanton, NJ.
