Robert E. Hoffmann

Robert E. Hoffmann, age 88 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, formerly of Bridgewater, NJ, died on Sunday, February 24, 2013 in the Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.

Born in Hessental, Germany, March 1, 1924, he was the son of the late Friedrich and Rosa Roth Hoffmann.

His wife of sixty years, Erna Hoffman, died in 2012. He was also pre-deceased by his eleven siblings.

Surviving are his three daughters, Ami Sylvester of Wall, NJ, Christina Salerno, and her husband, Dr. Felix Salerno, of Flemington, NJ, and Ingrid Hoffmann of Matawan, NJ; and one grandson, Michael Sylvester.

A Memorial Service will take place Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
