Robert E. Warnecke

Robert E. Warnecke, age 70 years, of Holland Township, NJ, died on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at Capital Health Systems, Fuld Campus, Trenton, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, February 16, 1939, he was the son of the late Louis and Mildred Rancke Warnecke and had resided in Holland Township for forty years, having previously lived in Sergeantsville, NJ.

A United States Navy veteran, Mr. Warnecke graduated Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Dairy Science.

He was first a Dairyman’s League Milk Inspector, then was employed by Shell Chemical, Trenton, NJ, and later worked for American Hoechst, Pluckemin, NJ. He was a member of the Penn State Dairyman's Club as well as a member of the Tin Can Sailors.

Surviving are his wife of forty-three years, Madeline Shields Warnecke; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet Ann and Richard Grayson, of Wilmington, DE; a niece, Jennifer Grayson; a nephew, Charles Alexander Grayson; an aunt, Lois Rulon; and several cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ.
