Robert F. Bush, Jr., age 66 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Friday, September 27, 2013, at his home.
Born in Somerville, NJ, June 25, 1947, he had resided in Flemington all his life.
Bob retired in 2011 as Assistant Director of Buildings & Grounds for Hunterdon County, Flemington, NJ.
He was a graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ, and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
A member of Flemington Elks Lodge #1928, he was also an associate member of VFW Post #7856 of Flemington, NJ.
Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline Roberts Bush; his parents, Robert F. Bush, Sr. and Dorothy Trimmer Bush of Hackettstown, NJ; two step-daughters, Victoria Roberts of New Orleans, LA. and Nora Petito of Princeton, NJ; a brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Kate Bush of Flemington, NJ; two nephews, Christopher Bush and Matthew Bush, both of Flemington, NJ; and his former wife and best friend, Linda Bush of Flemington, NJ.
A Celebration Of His Life will be held Friday, October 4, 2013, at 5:00PM in Flemington Elks Lodge #1928, Highway 31, Flemington, NJ, with pizza and pot luck dinner. A private family interment with military honors will be held in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Washington Crossing, PA. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
