Robert F. Bush, Sr., age 89 years, of Bethlehem, PA., died Friday, January 16, 2015, at Alexandria Manor, Bethlehem, PA.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, April 17, 1925, son of the late3 Frank and Helen Rockafellow Bush, he had resided in Flemington, NJ, most of his life and had resided in Bethlehem, PA, for the past year.
Bob was a graduate of Flemington High School, Class of 1943 and was a truck drive and Vice-President of Bush Dairy Farms, Inc., Flemington, NJ, and then was a truck driver for Johanna Farms, Flemington, NJ. Before retiring, he was a custodian at Three Bridges School, Three Bridges, NJ.
Bob was a US Army veteran of World War 2 serving in France and Germany.
His wife of sixty-seven years, Dorothy Trimmer Bush, died Nov. 2014; a grandson, Christopher Bush, died Oct. 2014 and a son Robert F. Bush, Jr., died in 2013.
Surviving are a son, Bruce E. Bush of Flemington, NJ; a grandson, Matthew Bush of Flemington, NJ; a great granddaughter, Jocelyn Bush of Greenville, SC; and a sister, Barbara Herder of Flemington, NJ.
A Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 23, 2015, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Calling hours will be Friday 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
