Robert Fortin, age 78 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, March 18, 2011, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Springfield, MA, June 3, 1932, he moved to Windsor, CT, moving to Raritan Township in October 2010.
He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He was formerly a parking attendant. He was active for many years in the AMVETS.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Maher, of Raritan Township, NJ; a step-daughter, Deborah Haskell, of Southwick, MA; a sister, Irene Pasquarillo, of Springfield, MA; and a grandson, Sean Patrick Mayer, of Raritan Township, NJ.
Funeral Services and interment The Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
