Robert G. Maciolek

Robert G. Maciolek, age 62 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away at home the evening of April 24, 2023.

Born in Pittston, PA, June 16, 1960, he was the son of the late Roman and Emma Jane (Wheeler) Maciolek. He grew up in West Pittston, PA and was a 1979 graduate of Wyoming Area High School in Pennsylvania.

He worked as an optician for twenty-five years at Pearle Vision. Most recently, he was employed at the local Flemington Burlington Coat Factory.

Additionally, he loved to travel. The destinations over the years included Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Key West, FL and San Francisco, CA. He was also an avid gardener in his spare time.

Surviving are his partner and “rock” of forty years, Michael Drogalis; as well as his siblings: Thomas Wheeler, Beverly Woods, John Maciolek, Daniel Maciolek, and Niles Maciolek.

Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wyoming, PA will take place at a later date to be determined by the family.
