Robert J. Gabrish

Robert J. Gabrish, age 78 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ, August 25, 1941, son of the late Joseph and Sarah Beutell Gabrish, Bob had resided in the Flemington area since 1954.

He was a 1959 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Flemington, NJ, and was a property inspector and partner with Assessor Services, LLC, Flemington, NJ.

Bob was a good man who was always there for his family. He was a car fanatic who loved to drive and go on road trips.

Bob was well-loved by his many great nieces and great nephews and is survived by his sister, Marilyn Gabrish of Islip, NY; his brother, William (Lynne) Gabrish of Smithfield, Utah; his nieces and nephews, Mark (Cecilia) Chipps of West Islip, NY, Jennifer (Chris) Evans, Wayne (Treva) Gabrish, Jared (Jacqui) Gabrish, Brian Gabrish and James (Heidi) Gabrish, all of Utah, as well as his great nieces and great nephews and a cousin, George (Gloria) Hogan of Orefield, PA. A sister, Linda Kelly, died in 2015.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 13, 2020 at 11:30 AM in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
