Robert L. Klimback, age 88 years, of Old Bridge, NJ, died on Sunday, June 25, 2006 in St. Peters Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.
Born in Glen Ridge, NJ, June 10, 1918, he was the son of the late Frederick W. and Helen Rhinehart Klimback. He had formerly resided in Old Bridge, NJ, and Roselle, NJ.
He was Supervisor of the Aeroshipping Department for Otis Elevator and then was head of the sanitation department for Sunshine Biscuits, Sayreville, NJ, retiring in 1983.
He was a United States Army veteran of World War II, serving in Africa and Italy.
His wife, Marjorie Tannahill Klimback, died in 1987. He is survived by a daughter, Leslie Tannahill, of Burlington, NJ, and a sister, Rita Ott, of Sun City Center, FL.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment and services will be private.
