Robert S. Hughes

Robert S. Hughes, age 86 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died on Friday, February 3, 2006, in the Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.

Born in Middletown, NJ, September 1, 1919, he was the son of the late Ord and Margaret Smith Hughes.

He was formerly a self-employed Auto Repair Shop owner in Port Monmouth, NJ.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn M. Krasle Hughes, of Clinton Township, and a son, Robert H. Hughes, of Bedford, NH; two grandchildren, Robert J. Hughes and Kathleen M. Barclay; and two great-grandchildren, Keith Barclay and Robby Hughes.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be from 6-8 PM Monday in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
