Robert T. Deluca

Robert T. DeLuca, age 75 years, of Ringoes, NJ, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Bayonne, NJ on July 23, 1942, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Isabelle (Riccardi) DeLuca.

A Rutgers University graduate, Robert worked for CSX Intermodal as a sales manager for the last thirty-five years. A member of the Croton Rod & Gun Club, Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He was also an avid cyclist, having ridden throughout Canada and Europe. Robert’s main interest was being active in the lives of his family members. He was a loving husband, dad, and grandfather.

Surviving are his wife Kathleen DeLuca; two sons, Robert DeLuca, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Flemington, NJ and Paul DeLuca and his wife, Kimberly of Flemington, NJ; two sisters, Mary Lou Santoro of Lake Stockholm, NJ and Kathleen Bludgus of Westfield, NJ; five grandchildren, Allison, Dana, Sean, Abigail, and Marina DeLuca and three nieces and one nephew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, 94 North Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

Memorial contributions in Robert’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
