Robert Yockman

Robert Yockman, age 87 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Monday, April 15, 2019, at Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Lyndhurst, NJ, May 17, 1931, son of the late Frederick and Helen Jachowski Yockman, he had resided in the Flemington area for fifteen years and had formerly resided in Old Bridge, NJ.

Robert served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was formerly employed by Grand Union Stores, North Brunswick, NJ, until retiring.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Sally Yockman of East Brunswick, NJ; a niece Gale Smith-Gosser and her husband, Bill, of Flemington, NJ; three nephews, Eric, Scott and Brian Yockman; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 11:30 AM in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
