Roger L. Silverthorn

Roger L. Silverthorn, age 64 years, of Pohatcong Township, NJ, died on September 24, 2007, at his residence.

Born in Washington, NJ, August 7, 1943, he was the son of the late Lewis and Ethel Wright Silverthorn.

He had formerly resided in Stockton, NJ.

He was employed by Lipton Tea Company, Raritan Township, NJ, until retiring.

He was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War serving two tours of duty and earning the Bronze Star.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Reasoner Silverthorn; two sons, Donald Silverthorn of Ringoes, NJ, and Jason Silverthorn of Phillipsburg, NJ; and one grandson.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held from 10 - 11 AM Wednesday in the funeral home.
