Roger P. Snyder, age 89 years, of Centreville, VA died on Friday, February 16, 2007 in Prince William Hospital, Manassas, VA.
Born in Flemington, NJ, July 29, 1917, son of the late Earl and Bessie Snyder, he had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ before moving to Centreville thirty years ago.
He was the Service Department Manager for Bob White Buick, Tyson's Corner, VA and later for Brown Dodge, also in Tyson's Corner, until retiring.
A 1935 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ, he was a United States Army Veteran of World War II, serving in the European campaigns. Mr. Snyder was also a member of the Chantilly Gold Club of Centreville, VA.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Kennedy Snyder; two sons, Barry Snyder of Warrington, VA and Brian Snyder of Centreville, VA; a daughter, Bonnie Lawson of Stephen City, VA; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. A sister, Dorothy Patterson, died in 2003.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
