Ron served his country as an Airman in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1961. He later attended the Burlington County Police Academy and joined the Flemington Police Department in 1969 as a Patrol Officer. He grew tomatoes in his garden that added a special flavor to the pizza he made at home.
He loved following space travel and airplanes; eventually obtaining his pilot’s license to be able to fly on his own. Some of his fondest moments were attending the former Flemington Speedway where he often assisted some of the local drivers and their teams. Ron could often be found watching a ballgame, especially the New York Yankees or the NY Football Giants.
Ron and Linda enjoyed travelling throughout the United States and abroad. Favorite trips included tours of France and Italy by train and motorhome trips to the American West. The two enjoyed spending many happy times at their home in Cypress Cove in Kissimmee FL.
