Ronald Joseph Greig

RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Ronald J. Greig, age 53, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following his courageous battle with esophageal cancer.

Born in Somerville, NJ, April 26, 1960, he was the son of Joan Greig of Somerville, NJ and the late William J. Greig. He worked as an Associate Director, Development Operations, Global Medical Services for ImClone Systems located in Bridgewater, NJ.

He was a graduate of Immaculata High School, Somerville, NJ and received a B.A. from Belmont Abbey College, NC.

He was an avid sports fan, particularly the Mets and Jets. He enjoyed bird watching, swimming, playing golf and gardening. He especially enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Meryl (Daniel) Greig, sons, Ronald Joseph Greig, Jr. and Connor Robert Greig. He is also survived by six siblings; Karen Greig, Langhorne, PA; William Greig (Cathy), Farmingdale, NJ; Joan Muniz (Fred), Middlesex, NJ; his twin James Greig (Colleen), Alpha, NJ; Steven Greig, Somerville, NJ; and Kenneth Greig, Somerville, NJ; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Patricia Daniel, Point Pleasant, NJ; sister and brothers-in-law; Kimberlee Sandy (Kenyon), Winter Haven, FL; Lisa Granskie, Flemington, NJ; and Robert Daniel (Denise), Asbury, NJ; nieces and nephews; Christopher, Ryan, Kevin, Allison and Michael Morano, Jeff, Shauna, Danny, Kerri, Traci-Jo, Maggie, Molly, Katie, Claire, Danielle and Kurtis Radock, Kyle, Stephanie, Olivia, and Jake; and great-nephew, Gavin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, from 4:00 -8:00 PM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Inurnment will be private in Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
