Rosa C. Roca

Rosa C. Roca, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at her home.

Born in Yungay, Chile, November 27, 1926, she came to the United States to live with her daughter in Raritan Township, NJ thirty-four years ago.

Rosa loved knitting, reading and playing cards, but above all else, her passion was helping to raise her grandchildren.

She worked for many years in Chile as a Hairdresser and also worked as a chef at Brocco's Deli, Flemington, NJ.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Walton Caceres in 1983, her son, Walton Caceres, Jr. in 2014 and her grandson, Michael Ebel in 1989.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Ana and Chris Ebel of Raritan Township, NJ; her daughter-in-law, Luz Caceres in Chile; six grandchildren, Paul, Bernice, Penelope and Benjamin Caceres and Christianne and Brett Ebel; six great grandchildren, Brandy Henderson, Courtney and Nicole Caceres, Jacob Little, Willow Ebel-Infante and Violette Ebel-Bjalfalk; two great-great grandchildren, Mariah and Bella Caceres; and her close friends, Adrianna and Ivan Caceres.

A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
