Rosalie C. Coleman

Rosalie C. Coleman, age 104 years, passed away February 3, 2021, at Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

She was born in Trenton, NJ to Franz and Rosalie Lea Kuntz on January 6, 1917, and had resided in Hunterdon County all her life.

She loved her flowers and always had beautiful gardens and until recently read constantly. Most of all, she loved her family, particularly the babies and youngsters. Rosalie was formerly a longtime member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church.

Rosalie was pre-deceased by her brothers, Matthew, Frank, John and Adam Kuntz and her sisters, Eva Winkler, Elizabeth Kuntz and Madeline Kurylo. She was also pre-deceased by her husband, Alfred Coleman and son, Alfred (Freddy), Coleman, Jr.

She leaves behind four children, Mary Ellen Miller of Milford, NJ, Wayne (Peggy) Coleman of Baileyville, ME, Kathleen Bohm in California and David (Cathy) Coleman of Milton, DE; eleven grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 12 Noon in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Amwell Ridge Cemetery, Larison’s Corner, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
