Rose Lohnicky, age 82 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.

Born in New York City, NY, July 5, 1924, duaghter of the late Joseph and Rose Kraal Jankovic, she had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ for thirty-five years before moving to Clinton Township three years ago.

A graduate of Hunter College in New York City, she was employed in the Hunterdon County Probation Department, Flemington, NJ, retiring seventeen years ago. She was also currently a part-time employee of the Hunterdon County Democrat.

A member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church and Flemington Elks Lodge Auxiliary, Mrs. Lohnicky was an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society's "Reach To Recovery" Program for over twenty-five years.

Her husband, Bernard Lohnicky, died in 1985 and her son, Jeffrey Lohnicky, died in 1991.

Surviving are a daughter, Elaine Lohnicky of Clinton Township, NJ; and three cousins, Joseph Kopsick and Richard Kopsick, both of Lake Bluff, IL and Kevin Kopsick of Hollywood, FL.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
