Rose M. Duncan

Rose M. Duncan, age 96 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, November 8, 2009 in Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ, where she had resided for the past nine years.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, February 21, 1913, daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Grady Mayea, she had formerly resided in Whiting, NJ for over twenty-five years.

Mrs. Duncan was formerly a Clerk, as well as a Stenographer, for the City of Elizabeth, NJ, retiring in 1975.

Surviving are three sons, Leonard Duncan of Brinestone, VA, James Duncan of Clinton Township, NJ and John Duncan of Edison, NJ; two grandchildren, Juan and Alyssa; and six great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Newark, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
