Rose Schmid

Rose Schmid (Kadezabek), age 86 years, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at her home in Ringoes, NJ.

Rose was born April 9, 1926 in Garfield, NJ to the late Joseph and Mary Gregor Kadezabek. The family later moved to Copper Hill where they operated a small farm. Rose married Robert Schmid on April 26, 1947 and remained in the Ringoes area where they raised their four children.

Rose was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1999. Rose is survived by a son Randy Schmid of Flemington, NJ; three daughters, Gail Titus of Perkasie, PA, Terry Schmid of Ringoes, NJ and Lisa Keller of Oakhurst, NJ; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister Elizabeth Kadezabek of Flemington, NJ and a brother Frank Kadezabek of Flemington, NJ.

Rose worked as a seamstress at The Chute Shop and National Parachute Company in Flemington, NJ, until retiring in 2010. Rose loved working in her garden, mowing her lawn and walking with her sister Liz.

Funeral services and interment will be private under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
