Rose Ziegler

Rose Ziegler, age 92 years, of Lower Makefield Township, PA, died on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at her residence.

Born in Alpha, NJ, March 13, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alujzia Ihasz Czirok. She had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ, and Maplewood, NJ, before moving to Lower Makefield twenty-one years ago.

She was a retired beautician, formerly employed at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ.

Her husband, William F. Ziegler, died in 1977. Surviving are a daughter, Lydia Liqua, of Newtown, PA; a granddaughter, Cristina Woodward and a great-granddaughter Ashley Lynn Woodward both of Newtown, PA; and a brother, Eugene Czirok, of Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Union, NJ on Wednesday. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 7 PM until time of service in the funeral home.
