Roseann Bissett

Roseann Bissett, age 77 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, August 28, 2006 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born September 7, 1928 in Jersey City, NJ, daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Henderson McAnerney, she had formerly resided in Jersey City, Stirling and Plainfield, NJ prior to Raritan Township.

She was a Traffic Manager at Mattel Toys, Edison, NJ from 1967-1988. Additionally, Mrs. Bissett was a Volunteer at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ, a member of the AARP of Flemington, NJ and a Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.

Her husband, Robert C. Bissett, whom she married on May 27, 1951, died in 1991.

Surviving are two sons, Robert T. Bissett and wife Kathleen of Flemington, NJ and Colonel Bruce E. Bissett, USMC (Ret.) and wife Mary of Savannah, GA; two daughters, Lynn A. Bissett of Flemington, NJ and Catherine B. Elflein and husband Frederick of Warren, NJ; seven grandchildren, Meghan B. Bissett of Needham, MA, Robert B. Bissett of Flemington, NJ, Scott A. Bissett of McLean, VA, Courtney A. Pfriender of Flemington, NJ, Mary Nedjar of Richmond, VA, Georgiana Krzenski of Oceanside, CA, and Theresa Egnot of San Diego, CA; and two great-grandchildren, Zachary Fischer and Brianna Krzenski of Oceanside, CA; and a sister, Catherine Carlson of Long Branch, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Funeral Home.
