Rosemary Keelen, age 70 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died suddenly while on vacation on January 9, 2006, in Naples, FL.
Born in Newark, NJ, Auguat 30, 1935, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary McGarrity Smith. She had formerly resided in New Hope, PA.
She was formerly a medical secretary at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
She is survived by her husband, Peter C. Keelen; two sons; James Keelen of Flemington, NJ, and Peter Keelen of Harrisburg, PA; four daughters; Karen Thompson of Pipersville, PA, Susan Silvestro of Stockton, NJ, Maureen Keelen of Croydon, PA, and Marianne Buccigrossi of Kintnersville, PA; 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, and a loving extended family. Two brothers, Joseph and james Smith, and a sister, Theresa Smith, pre-deceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 1-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
