Ross J. Leta

Ross J. Leta, age 85 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, November 7, 2008, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Avon, NY, February 24, 1923, he was the son of the late Anthony and Sarah Lanza Leta. He had formerly resided in Rochester, NY and Fort Myers, FL.

He was a hospital attendant at Rochester State Hospital and a gardener.

His wife, Mary D. Barone Leta, died in 2001. Surviving are two sons, David E. Leta of Salt Lake City, UT, and Daniel P. Leta of Raritan Township, NJ; two sisters, Mazie Barone of Mt. Morris, NY, and Connie Terzo of Rush, NY; and four grandchildren: Renee Leta, Suzanne Leta Liou, Dane Leta, and Taylor Leta.

Funeral Services and interment will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
