Roy Hancock

Roy E. Hancock, age 75 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014.

Born in Queens, NY, May 15, 1939, son of the late Roy A. and Fay Euphemia Hancock, he had resided in Delaware Township and Kingwood Township most of his life.

A self-employed tree surgeon and excavator, Roy also operated a cleaning/removal service.

He was a graduate of Flemington High School, Class of 1957 and attended Delaware Valley Agricultural College, Doylestown, PA. Roy also served in the US Merchant Marine and was a member of the National Maritime Union.

Surviving are two daughters, Christa Ubel of Raubsville, PA. and Lisa Hancock of Cortez, FL.

Arrangements and interment are private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 4 pm in the Locktown Presbyterian Church, Locktown, NJ.
