Ru Ding Li, age 90 years, of Kendall Park, NJ, died on Sunday, July 31, 2016 in Park Place Center, Monmouth Junction, NJ.
Born in Fujian Province, China, April 11, 1926, she was the eldest daughter of the late Zhang Tou Chang and Shu Zhen Wu.
A 1948 graduate of Shaanxi Provincial Business College, she married Shih Fong Li in Shanghai, China in 1949. Ru Ding worked for thirty-five years for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Taiwan ROC. In her later years she worked as Office Chancellor for the Chinese Consulate of Taiwan ROC in Malaysia and in the Chinese Embassy of Taiwan ROC in Korea.
She is pre-deceased by her husband, Shih Fong Li who died June 10, 2016. Surviving are two daughters, Angela Li and Iris Li both of Flemington, NJ; one son, Mu Sheng Li of Jamesburg, NJ and four grandchildren, Mark Pinkerton, Jr., Jo Huang, Lucy Huang and Hank Huang. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown Road, Quakertown, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
