Ruth E. Ent

Ruth E. Ent, age 92 years, of Pennington, NJ, died on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Stockton, NJ, March 6, 1914, she was the daughter of the late William and Rheba Crum Ent. She had formerly resided in Whiting, NJ, and Sergeantsville, NJ.

She was a 1931 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ.

She retired from the Hunterdon County Agricultural Extension Center in 1976 after 42 years of service. She served as President of the local Union.

She was a former member of the Hunterdon County Soroptimist Club. She was a member of Old Rocks Church, West Amwell Township, NJ. She was active in Christian endeavors for many years.

She is survived by a nephew, Wayne Hunt, of Ringoes, NJ, and a niece, Betty Jane Hunt, of West Amwell Township, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Sandy Ridge Cemetery, Delaware Township, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 9:30 AM until 11 AM in the funeral home.
