Ruth Elizabeth Rockafellow

Ruth Elizabeth Rockafellow, age 74, died Saturday, January 11, 2019, at Heritage Health Care & Rehab in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

She was born January 1, 1945, in Somerville, New Jersey. Growing up in Ringoes, New Jersey, she was a graduate of Hunterdon Central High School and earned her B.S. degree from West Virginia Wesleyan University. Upon graduation, she moved to Los Angeles, California, where she worked as a Dietician for many years. After retirement, she moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Rockafellow, Sr. and Mary Rockafellow, and her sister, Effie Rockafellow Jurgensen. Additional survivors include Brothers, Arthur Rockafellow, Jr., Phillip Rockafellow, Harry Rockafellow, William Rockafellow, several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be with her mother in Union Cemetery in Ringoes, New Jersey. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
