Ruth H. Zdepski

KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP – Ruth H. Zdepski, age 82, died Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown PA.

Born August 29, 1933 in Hillsborough, Somerset County, NJ, Ruth was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Carver) Snyder. She lived most of her life in Hunterdon County, NJ, and was a long-time member of the Baptistown Baptist Church, where she was a Youth Leader in their Baptist Youth Fellowship group. More recently, she was faithfully attending at the Heritage Baptist Church in Flemington NJ.

Ruth worked for over 30 years for Acme Markets in the Meat Department, where she was Deli Manager for many of those years. Ruth loved ceramics and taught ceramics classes to others for many years. She also enjoyed making porcelain dolls. Ruth enjoyed listening to gospel music. What brought Ruth great joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; but most of all, the love of her life, her husband Walt.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 63 years, Walter Zdepski, as well as her five children, Steven A. Zdepski of Kingwood Township NJ, Le R. Zdepski of Bedminster PA, MaryAnna Zdepski of Kingwood Township NJ, Walter John Zdepski of Kingwood Township NJ, and Eva Zdepski of Flemington NJ. She is also survived by her three brothers, LeRoy Snyder of Milford NJ, Amos Snyder of Ottsville PA, Solomon Stamm of Coral Springs FL, her sister, Dolores Stickel of Danboro PA, her nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at the Heritage Baptist Church, 1 Autumn Leaf Drive, Flemington, NJ officiated by the Rev. Daniel B. Troutman. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery, Route 519, Rosemont NJ. Calling hour will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
