Ruth T. Edgley

Ruth T. Edgley, age 89 years, of Easton PA., died Sunday, November 29, 2015, at Abington Manor, Easton, PA, where she resided.

Born in Worcester, MA, September 16, 1926, daughter of the late Francis X. and Georgianna St. Germain Rioux, she had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ for many years, then in New Hope, PA, before moving to Easton.

Ruth was a secretary for the Law Offices of Thomas DiBianca, Flemington, NJ, until retiring. She loved to write, kept a journal of her many observations, and received much enjoyment from oil painting different pieces throughout the years.

Surviving are a son, Keith Edgley of Allentown, PA.; a daughter, Christine Burd of Slatington, PA.; a brother, Richard Rioux of Anaheim, CA.; a grandson, Robert Edgley; two granddaughters, Alexis Rose and Alyssa Edgley; and a great grandson, Ethan Edgley.

A memorial service officiated by the Rev. James DeVries, will be held at 11 AM, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruth's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
