Sally A. Bennett

Sally A. Bennett, age 65 years, of Clinton Tonwship, NJ, died on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at her residence following a long and courageous fight with cancer.

Born in St. Marys, PA, August 28, 1940, daughter of the late David and Hazel Ohlson Mecca, she had formerly resided in Readington Township, NJ before moving to Clinton Township ten years ago.

A homemaker, Mrs. Bennett was also a creator of stained glass products. She was devoted to her family being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her husband of forty-five years, David Bennett; a daughter, Lisa Stevens of Annandale, NJ; two sons, Mark Bennett of Flemington, NJ and Craig Bennett of Clinton Township, NJ; two sisters, Connie Armagost of Ridgway, PA and Diane Haberberger of St. Marys, PA; a brother, Daniel Mecca of St. Marys, PA; a sister-in-law, Margaret Bennett of Newtown, PA; and four grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private on Wednesday in Oakmont Cemetery, Ridgway, PA.
