Sally A. Giordano,age 60 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 2, 2011, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ following a brief illness.

Born in Somerville, NJ, November 9, 1951, daughter of the late Leslie A. and Wanda Black Nicholson, she graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School and the University of Wyoming with a BA in Education.

A teacher, she taught at Clinton Township, NJ school system and also formerly operated Sally's Cabin, an arts,crafts and gift store in Lebanon, NJ.

Sally cherished her church family at South Ridge Community Church, Clinton, NJ, which provided the ultimate support and loving care for her during her illness.

She was a longtime breeder of German Shepherd dogs and was a horse enthusiast and accomplished rider.

Her husband, Alphonsus Vincent Giordano died November 2,2011 and a brother, Glenn Raymond Nicholson, also pre-deceased her.

Surviving are three children, Joshua, Jordan and Johanna, all at home; a sister, Wanda Wills of Guilford, NY; and a brother, Leslie A. Nicholson,Jr., of Perrineville, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services wil be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM in South Ridge Community Church, 7 Pittstown Rd., Clinton, NJ followed by interment in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 - 11:30 AM at the church.
