Sally Kathryn Burkert

Sally Kathryn (“Kathy”) Burkert, age 89 years, of Newtown, PA, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Trenton, NJ, March 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late George B. and Kathryn Clark Schwoebel. A graphic artist at Greyrad and later freelancing, Kathy was a volunteer for Senior Citizens of Hunterdon County, helping with their newsletter and other projects. An avid knitter, Kathy loved to dance, feed the multitude of birds at her Hopewell home in the woods, travel cross country in the RV and entertain friends and family. She is pre-deceased by her husband Harold E. Burkert in 2006. Surviving are her three children, Thomas Goodhart of Sunrise, FL, Daniel Walter of Morrisville, PA, and David Walter of High Bridge, NJ; one granddaughter, Erin Walter of Morrisville, PA; and one stepdaughter, Connie Goldstrohm of Roswell, GA.
