Salvatore Billera, age 86 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Sunday, February 18, 2018 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, May 30, 1931, he was the son of the late Ignatius and Nettie Bonaventura Billera.
Mr. Billera had resided in the Flemington area for the past 71 years, and was a Communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Three Bridges. He was the assistant manager of A&P Food Store, before retiring in 1994.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Anne Inglin Billera; his children, Richard Billera of Alpha, NJ, Kathryn Everlet of Reignier, France, Robert Billera of Flemington, NJ, and Marianne Taranto of Ringoes, NJ; his two brothers, Louis Billera of Flemington, NJ, and Joseph Billera of Bath, PA; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 105 Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 6-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
