Salvatore R. DiPasquale, age 66 years, of Flemington Borough, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, November 11, 2024, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born on January 16, 1958, in Paterson, NJ, Salvatore was the son of Angelina "Janet" (Mattei) DiPasquale and the late Rosario DiPasquale. He had formerly resided in Cranford, NJ for most of his life, but had lived in Flemington, NJ for the past 20 years.
For over 40 years, Salvatore made his mark in the field of technical sales for the Hewlett-Packard computer software company. His passion for his work was evident as he never officially retired, continuing to work diligently until illness prevented him from doing so. His colleagues and clients alike appreciated his expertise and dedication, which greatly contributed to the success of the company.
Outside of his professional life, Salvatore was known for his love of the beach, frequently enjoying the shores of Hazlet, NJ, and the scenic beauty of Cape May, NJ. He was an avid enthusiast of refurbishing old radios and was characterized by his knack for, as he put it, "fixing things". A particular highlight in his life was restoring classic cars, with his pride and joy being a meticulously restored 1962 Thunderbird. Salvatore also found solace in the kitchen or backyard, relishing moments spent cooking pizza and grilling chicken for family and friends.
Throughout his life, Salvatore was driven by a deep compassion for others. He was particularly proud of his contributions to charitable causes, including recent donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund, helping those affected by Hurricane Helene. His commitment to assisting those in need has left a lasting impact on many lives.
Salvatore is survived by his daughters, Carlie DiPasquale, Tina Airola and her husband Kyle, and Shauna DiPasquale and her husband Stuart Eshelman. He was also a proud grandfather to Henry Airola. His partner, Diane Kale, his mother, Janet DiPasquale, and three siblings further mourn his passing. In addition to his father, he was predeceased his brother, Tom DiPasquale, who passed away earlier this year.
Salvatore R. DiPasquale will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for the love he shared with his family and his dedication to helping others. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he impacted throughout his life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund, 20312 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-0312.
Arrangements and cremation services were private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. For further information or to send an online condolence, please visit his memorial page and guestbook at www.holcombefisher.com.
