Samuel J. Valenza

Samuel J. Valenza, age 95 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died September 30, at his residence.

Born in Newark, NJ, April 30, 1914, son of the late Joseph and Concetta Valenza. He had formerly resided in Randolph, NJ before moving to Delaware Township fifteen years ago.

He was a retired insurance inspector for Insurance Services, Parsippany, NJ. He was also a United States Airforce veteran of World War II serving in European Theater of operations.

His wife Yolanda Buro Valenza died in 1989. Survivng are a daughter, Linda Dunsmuir of Raritan Township, NJ and a son, Robert Valenza of Alta Loma, Ca.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 AM in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ under the direction of Holcombe Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hunterdon Art Museum, 7 Lower Center Street, Clinton, NJ 08809.
