Sara J. Frink

Sara J. Frink, age 84 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, November 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Baine) Johnston. She had formerly resided in Chatham, NJ, Virginia, New York, NY, North Plainfield, NJ, and finally Flemington, NJ for the last thirty-five years.

Sara graduated from the University of Madrid in Spain and was formerly employed as a secretary and translator for General Motors in New York City. She then worked at the Hunterdon County Court House in criminal case management from 1989 until her retirement in 2015.

She loved nature, gardening, and animals, especially cats. Her passions included reading mystery novels, especially the works of author James Patterson. She will be remembered as the best mom and grandmother to her family.

She was predeceased by her husband of thirty-three years, Clarence Frink, who died in 1996.

Surviving is her daughter, Jere Frink of Raritan Township, NJ; her granddaughter Shiloh Smith (Jarrett) of Cape Charles, VA; as well as her feline companion, Phineas.
