Sarah E. Perkovich

Sarah E. Perkovich, age 76 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Robert Wood Johnson-Somerset Hospital, Somerville, NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ, July 1, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marion Hunt Clawson. She was a lifelong resident of the Rocktown and Ringoes area.

Sarah was a 1958 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School (the first class to graduate there). She was an avid reader, especially of History, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Her husband, Alfred, died in 1990, and her sister, Barbara, in 2006. Surviving are her five children: Michael (Denise) Perkovich of Factoryville, PA, Lisa Tomsa of Flemington, NJ, Nancy Perkovich of Whiting, NJ, Steven Perkovich of Stockton, NJ, and David Perkovich of Stockton, NJ; her nine grandchildren: Jamie, Erica, Michael, Steven II, Robert, Mary, Janine, Melody, and Stephanie; her four great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, James, Wyatt, and Quentin; and her siblings, M. Virginia Perkovich, Richard Clawson, and Linda Fisher.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 3 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 1-3 PM in the funeral home.
