Scott Allen Sabo

Scott Allen Sabo, age 37 years, of Holland Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, February 24, 1974, son of Katherine Bassett and Scott Santo, he had resided in Holland Township for the past year, having lived many years in Raritan Township, NJ.

A 1993 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Scott was both a wrestler and football player there. He was the owner and operator of Scott Sabo Painting, Flemington, NJ and had recently become a member of the Milford Lions Club, Milford, NJ.

Scott devoted his life to bettering the lives of others; even in death he continues to do so by serving as an organ donor through the Gift of Life Donor Program.

He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandfather, Milton Sabo, Jr. and by his paternal grandparents, Emma and Michael Santo.

Surviving are his wife, Veronique de Groot-Sabo; his mother and step-father, Katherine and James Bassett III of Ringoes, NJ; his father and step-mother, Scott and Lisa Santo in Pennsylvania; his maternal grandmother, Betty Sabo of Raritan Township, NJ; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jen Sabo of Raritan Township, NJ; his two sisters, Katelyn and Jamie Bassett of Ringoes, NJ; his step-brother, Michael and his wife Sarah Mernuka in Warren County, NJ; a nephew, Jackson Robert Sabo; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
