Scott A. Patkochis, age 42 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Saturday, November 23, 2013, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Raritan Township, NJ, December 31, 1970, he was the son of Charles and Mary Patkochis of Quakertown, NJ.
He was the owner of Scott Patkochis, LLC, a custom fencing and woodworking company. He was a 1989 graduate of North Hunterdon High School and received his degree in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University in 1994, where he played offensive line for the football team. He was the 1993 recipient of the Rutgers Football Women's Booster Club Award for outstanding contributions to the team.
He was the football coach for the North Hunterdon Junior Lions. He enjoyed the beach, hunting, and snowmobiling.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his children, Christopher and Alexis; a brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Alison Patkochis, of Alexandria Township, NJ; and his fiancee, Jennifer Vellanti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
