Scott Ballard

Scott Ballard, age 77 years, passed away peacefully, with his family present, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

He was born and raised in northern New Jersey, a graduate of Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY and Seton Hall Business School, South Orange, NJ.

Prior to his retirement, Scott had a successful career as a corporate accountant. Soon after, his early retirement job was driving a school bus for Boonton Public Schools.

Additionally, he was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and dog lover.

He and his wife, Lanie, raised their family in Rockaway, NJ, before moving to Hunterdon County, NJ just recently.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-two years, Lanie Ballard; daughters, Laurie Goffinet and Stacy Witzlsteiner; sons-in-law, Sam Goffinet and Scott Witzlsteiner; and grandchildren, Max Goffinet, and Jude and Sage Witzlsteiner.

Cremation services and arrangements were private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
