Sebastian C. Reyes, Ph.D.

Sebastian C. Reyes Moraga age 52 years, of Branchburg, NJ, died on Sunday, July 27, 2008 in Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, NJ.

He was born in Linares, Chile, son of Durbal Reyes and the late Luz Moraga, and resided in Branchburg, NJ for more than twenty years. In addition to his father, he is survived by five siblings, Durval, Gloria, Ivan, Camilo, and Maria Victoria.

Mr. Reyes received his doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and held the position of Distinguished Engineering Associate at ExxonMobil in Annandale, NJ at the time of his passing.

He was a creative and prolific inventor, a devoted friend and teacher, and a renowned scientist and engineer in his field. His family, friends, and colleagues will remember him as a remarkable individual, in his humanity and in his intellect. He has taken in his journey a part of each one he touched, taught, and charmed. He left each one of us with a part of him to guide us in our journey through our grief and our lives. We feel blessed to have known him and to have had him with us.
